Return to Play Institute, LLC

Why Us??

Meet Stacy.

Stacy was a high school senior. She was good academically and loved sports. Stacy was active in hockey, volleyball and loved to run an occasional marathon.

Her workout was consistent at four days a week. Usually she competed on Friday or Saturday and then Sunday was for hanging with friends, homework, and letting her body recover.

Stacy had Pains.

Her various muscle groups hurt at different times depending on the sport, level of training, and intensity of the competition.

Fortunately, Stacy had access to ibuprofen at home. Usually while foraging for dinner and whipping up a protein smoothie, she would pop one or two pills to help with the pain, but the pain kept coming back.

Treat the Problem and the Symptoms Disappear

We hear this story too often. Young athletes we see playing sports and being active should not be taking over the counter pain medication for EVERY ache and pain.

Adults should not be dependent on over the counter pain medication, either. Pain relievers don’t treat the issue, they mask the symptom.

Manual soft tissue therapy can treat the problem and relieve the symptoms.

Western medicine is slowly recognizing the benefit of natural, holistic treatments.

Recent studies have shown manual soft tissue therapy and manipulation should be considered as the first course of action for people suffering from non-specific low back pain.

Our clients have discovered that manual soft tissue therapy reduces pain in many areas, not just low back, plus it often improves performance.

Why Return to Play Institute

The term “Return to Play” refers to protocols (steps and procedures) used to help an injured athlete go from injury to recovery.

Often, the term is used with concussions, but we believe the term is appropriate for all issues we work with.

That’s why our therapists continually add new techniques and methods to their toolbox so we can provide you with the best possible results.

We can help you.

Return to Play Institute was founded specifically to help athletes and active people get back into their game or activity in a holistic, natural way.

Despite popular myth, soft tissue treatment does not have to hurt to be effective.

When working out, we say “No Pain, No Gain.” However, when diffusing complex muscle dysfunctions, we say “Pain? No Gain!” We’ll never leave you feeling like you’ve been beaten and bruised.

We’re glad you read this.

We took care of Stacy during hockey season. Her quads were a mess, her low back aching all the time.

After several weekly treatments, her quads began to improve, her low back problems no longer kept her fidgeting while sitting at her desk.

She was back in high gear academically and at each game.

Now, can we get to know you?
